Jessica Ku was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. She studied fine arts in Korea and received her Bachelor's degree in graphic design at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Currently, she is in a Master of Fine Arts program at California State University, Fullerton. Ku has worked as a graphic designer, art director and illustrator in Southern California, and has presented her personal works at galleries. Her recent projects are focused on interdisciplinary conceptual practices in graphic design: encompassing social, political, and economic arenas.
